5% hike in Dearness Allowance from 1.7.2019
As the cost of essential goods increase reached a newer height, the rate of Dearness Allowance payable to Central Government Employees works out to be 17% from 1.7.2019.Hence it is increased by 5% ie from 12% to 17% wef 1.7.2019
